360 g brown bread flour
120 g white bread flour
10 g instant yeast
2 ml salt
50 ml butter
500 ml buttermilk

Methods/steps
Blend the dry ingredients together and using your finger tips, rub in the butter until well blended
Add the buttermilk and mix well
Place the dough on a large sheet of aluminium foil
Shape into an oval, about 3 cm thick
Wrap loosely in the foil and place on moderately hot coals
Cover with more coals
Bake for about 45 minutes or until the bread is done
Take care not to burn the bread
Makes one medium loaf
