Butterscotch Sauce

For 1 cup sauce you will need:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup evaporated milk
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 cup chopped nuts, raisins or coconut, optional
Methods/steps
Combine sugar, milk, butter, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan
Place over high heat
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently
Reduce heat Simmer, stirring, about 6 to 8 minutes until sugar is
dissolved and sauce is thickened
Remove from heat
Cool slightly
Stir in nuts
raisins or coconut, if you like, and serve either warm or cool
