- 200 g haloumi cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons (30-45 ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 2-3 limes, juice and zest
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) course grainy mustard
- 4 tablespoons (60 ml) KNORR Balsamic With Olive Oil Salad Dressing
- flour seasoned with Robertsons salt and pepper
- Dressing:
- ½ teaspoon (2,5 ml) garlic paste
- 1 bunch Robertsons fresh coriander leaves, chopped coarsely
- Robertsons Salt and Freshly Ground Black pepper to taste
Methods/steps
- Pat cheese dry with kitchen paper and slice into fingers
- Prepare dressing by mixing together all ingredients in a bowl
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Coat cheese slices in seasoned flour
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry cheese slices, for about 1 minute on each side, until golden
- Serve immediately on a platter with dressing poured over
- Serve with pita bread
