Pixies (Chocolate Cookies)
Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening (eg. Crisco)
1 2/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 Tablespoons cocoa
2 Tablespoons shortening melted
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk

Methods/steps
Mix cocoa with 2 Tablespoons melted shortening to make chocolate mixture
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs well
Add vanilla & chocolate mixture
Sift dry ingredients and add to the dough alternately with milk
Chill dough well
Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sifted powdered sugar
Place on lightly greased baking sheet
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 ? 13 minutes
