Apple Cake

A home-kitchen version of apple cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 c. sliced apples
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. raisins
Method
Beat together oil and sugar.
Add eggs and beat until creamy. Sift together and add flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder.
Fold apples, nuts and raisins into very stiff batter.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.
Cool in pan.
