Banana Pudding Cake

A home-kitchen version of banana pudding cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 to 2 small ripe bananas
- 1 (2 layer size) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 (4 serving size) pkg. banana or vanilla instant pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Method
Slice bananas into large mixing bowl.
Beat until well mashed.
Add remaining ingredients.
Blend.
Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Pour into 10-inch well-greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.
Cool in pan at least 15 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Finish cooling on rack. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired.
(May be baked in 9 x 13-inch pan for 50 to 55 minutes.)
