A home-kitchen version of black cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 10 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking soda in 2 c. water
Method
Add all ingredients together at once.
When measuring oil, pour continuous stream of oil into tablespoon measure.
Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed.
Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan at 350° for 1 hour.
Frost with Crisco Icing.
