Caramel Popcorn

A home-kitchen version of caramel popcorn, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 16 c. popped popcorn or more
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
Method
Boil until slightly brown around edges.
Add 1/4 teaspoon soda.
Boil, stirring constantly.
Pour over popcorn, mix until covered; lay out to dry.
