Chocolate Icing

A home-kitchen version of chocolate icing, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 oz. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Method
Mix sugar,
cocoa,
salt
and milk in that order.
Cook until almost hard ball stage.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Beat until consistency of icing.
