A home-kitchen version of frosting, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 lb. (2 c.) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
Beat all but egg white 4 to 5 minutes.
Add egg white.
Beat 5 minutes longer.
