My Mother'S Coffee Cake

A home-kitchen version of my mother's coffee cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 1 egg
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
Fill greased pan and cover with brown sugar.
Add nuts, if desired.
Bake at 375° for about 25 minutes (use 2 cake pans, 9-inch).
