Oatmeal Cake

A home-kitchen version of oatmeal cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Method
Boil water; remove from heat.
Add oatmeal and margarine.
Mix other ingredients; add to oatmeal mixture.
Bake in an oblong pan at 350° for 30 minutes.
