A home-kitchen version of pecan pie #1, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 c. pecans, broken
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 uncooked pie shell
Method
Mix together syrup, pecans, eggs, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour in uncooked pie shell. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
