Pineapple Cookies

A home-kitchen version of pineapple cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. drained, crushed pineapple
Method
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and beat.
Sift the four dry ingredients.
Add vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart.
Bake 12 minutes in 375° oven or until brown.
