Raisin Sauce(For Ham)

A home-kitchen version of raisin sauce(for ham), written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good pork and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. broth from ham or water
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 5 cloves
Method
Mix sugar and cornstarch in a pan and add broth or water gradually, stirring constantly.
Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring occasionally, until raisins are plump and mixture is thick.
Serve hot with ham.
Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
