Russian Tea Cookies

A home-kitchen version of russian tea cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Method
Cream butter and sugar.
Add vanilla, flour, salt and nuts. Mix well.
Form into dime sized balls or flattened, if preferred. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 250° for 25 minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes 7 dozen cookies.
