Slowly Deviled Beef

A home-kitchen version of slowly deviled beef, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good beef and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean stew beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 1 envelope seasoning mix for Sloppy Joes
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 c. coarsely sliced celery
- 1 green pepper, cut into squares
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
Method
Place all ingredients in slow cooker; stir to mix ingredients. Cover and cook about 10 hours on low or 4 to 5 hours on high. Serve with hot cooked noodles or rice.
Has a nice tangy flavor. Makes 6 servings.
