Strawberry Chocolate Trifle

A home-kitchen version of strawberry chocolate trifle, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. of instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 cups frozen pound cake (thawed)
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup of strawberry preserves
- cool whip
Method
Mix pudding according to package directions. Chill. Cut cake into 1 inch cubes. Place 1/2 of the cake into glass bowl. Stir strawberries and preserves together. Spoon 1/2 of strawberry mixture over cake. Pour 1/2 of pudding over strawberries. Repeat this procedure again until all is used. Garnish with cool whip and fresh strawberries.
