Sugar Cookies

A home-kitchen version of sugar cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. oil
- 1 lb. butter or oleo
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 9 c. flour
Method
Cream powdered sugar, granulated sugar, oil and butter until light and fluffy.
Beat eggs and vanilla in a small bowl.
Add to mixture and blend well.
Make small round balls.
Press down on cookie sheet with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.
