Sweet Potato Pie

A home-kitchen version of sweet potato pie, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. boiled sweet potatoes, mashed
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick oleo, melted
- unbaked pie shell
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. allspice or nutmeg or more to suit your taste
Method
Combine all ingredients with melted oleo.
Mix well with mixer.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake on bottom rack of oven at 350°
until set, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
