Syrup Cookies

A home-kitchen version of syrup cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. butter
- 3 c. syrup
- 4 tsp. soda
- 2 c. raisins
- 7 c. flour
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 1 c. hot water
Method
In large mixing bowl, mix butter and eggs; add syrup.
Mix good.
Add dry ingredients.
Add raisins.
Put in very hot water and stir well. Drop from a spoon onto a well-greased cookie sheet and bake at 400° until done.
