Ugly Duckling Cake

A home-kitchen version of ugly duckling cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
- 2 1/3 c. flaked coconut
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
Method
Combine cake mix, fruit cocktail, 1 cup of coconut and eggs in a large bowl.
Blend; then beat on medium for 2 minutes.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
