Apple-Nut Cake

A home-kitchen version of apple-nut cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. salad oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. chopped, peeled and cored apples
- 1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped
Method
Measure all but last 2 ingredients into large bowl.
Mix on low speed of mixer, scraping sides of bowl.
Fold in apples and chopped nuts.
Spread batter in greased, floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 60 to 65 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean in a 350° oven.
Cool 10 minutes.
