Chocolate Chip Cookies

A home-kitchen version of chocolate chip cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco
- 12 Tbsp. white sugar
- 12 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 large bag chocolate chips
Method
Preheat oven to 350°.
With pastry blender or fork, cut Crisco, white sugar, brown sugar and eggs.
Add salt, soda, water and vanilla.
Stir until smooth.
Add flour and chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until lightly brown.
