Heavenly Hash Cake

A home-kitchen version of heavenly hash cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
- marshmallows
Method
Mix all ingredients together except the marshmallows and pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake at 350°.
Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean. Place marshmallows on hot cake and place into hot oven to melt.
Let cool, then cover with icing.
