A mexican take on mexican casserole, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 small onion
- 3 cans chicken/mushroom soup
- 1 small jar picante sauce
- 12 oz. pkg. unsalted tortilla chips
Method
Brown hamburger meat and chopped onion in pan.
In 9 1/2 x 13-inch cake pan, pour 3 cans soup (no water), 1 small jar picante sauce, the meat and crushed chips.
Mix well together.
Bake at 300° for 1/2 hour.
Shred cheese on top; melt in oven for 5 minutes.
Serves 6.
