Mrs. Lynn'S Fudge Cookies

A home-kitchen version of mrs. lynn's fudge cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. flour
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. walnuts (optional)
Method
Mix ingredients in order given as quickly as possible.
Do not beat.
Bake in a well-greased 9 1/2 x 13 1/2-inch pan in 400° oven for 12 minutes.
Frost while warm with powdered sugar icing or chocolate frosting.
Cut into squares and enjoy.
