Strawberry Angel Dessert

A home-kitchen version of strawberry angel dessert, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 large or 2 small pkg. wild strawberry flavor gelatin
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 pt. fresh strawberries or 1 pkg. frozen strawberries
- 3 1/2 c. whipped topping
- 4 c. angel food cake cubes
Method
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water and chill until slightly thickened.
Slice strawberries and sprinkle with a little sugar if using fresh.
Blend whipped topping into gelatin, then fold in cake cubes and strawberries.
Spoon into 13 x 9-inch pan.
Chill until firm.
