Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 oz. red food coloring
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. soda
Method
Beat together all ingredients.
Mix vinegar and soda and add to cake last.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
