White Chocolate Chip Cookies

A home-kitchen version of white chocolate chip cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/4 c. golden raisins
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 12 oz. coarsely chopped white chocolate
- 3/4 c. coarsely chopped, salted Macadamia nuts
Method
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
Beat butter and sugars in large mixer bowl at medium speed until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Beat in vanilla.
Beat in dry ingredients.
Stir in white chocolate, nuts and raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes until pale golden.
Cool on wire rack.
Makes 6 dozen.
