Sweet Potato Casserole

A home-kitchen version of sweet potato casserole, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good potato and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 3 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
Combine potatoes, sugar, eggs, salt, 1/4 cup butter, milk and vanilla. Spoon into an ungreased 1 to 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Combine brown sugar, flour, nuts and butter.
Spread over the potatoes.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
