Homemade Oreo Cookies

A home-kitchen version of homemade oreo cookies, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 1 devil's food cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 tub vanilla or cream cheese frosting
Method
Mix the first 3 ingredients together.
Mix will be thick. Measure out 1 teaspoon and roll into ball.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet (cookie will spread).
Bake at 350° for 7 to 8 minutes.
Cool!
Spread with vanilla or cream cheese frosting. These freeze well!
